Embedded Software Engineer

  • Design, code, and test applications for embedded systems in C and C++.
  • Write test scripts for equipment to help verify bug free software is released
  • Lead or participate in software design reviews, identification of code metrics, and software reliability analysis studies
  • Troubleshoot electrical control systems and provide field support when required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. The required qualifications are as follows:

  • Bachelor Degree in Software or Electrical Engineering with concentration in embedded software
  • Five (5) years of experience designing, testing, and deploying embedded controller software written in C and C++.
  • Fundamental understanding of real time operating systems
  • Detailed knowledge of industrial networks, CAN preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in an environment using embedded system software development tools
  • Must have detailed understanding of software test procedures and best of class documentation methods
  • Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and the IEC61131 programming environments using CoDeSys
  • Experience programming and troubleshooting control systems
  • Familiar with developing graphical user interface designs (HMI) using HTML, Java, and Embarcadero\Delphi software
  • Some experience working with databases (MySQL) is required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
