Mechanical Engineering Intern - Sustaining Engineering

Job Summary
Design mechanical and electromechanical products. Perform mechanical engineering functions in the execution of assigned projects as part of a cross functional team.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical standard products by designing, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
Design/modify standard equipment based on Change Notice requirements
Develop/modify 3D models & drawings for designs & changes
Review drawings to insure manufacturability and functionality.
Assist production with standard product engineering related concerns.
Analyze and resolve a range of engineering problems.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
Education: Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering
Experience: No experience required
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Strong communication skills
Good organizational skills required to manage small projects
Ability to take verbal direction and work task through completion
Training with 3D modeling software like SolidWorks
Self-starter
Detail oriented

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
