Manufacturing Engineer

Develop and improve manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of product design, assembly techniques and quality controls.
Program and process of parts in Machine shop to quantities and specifications per print.
Evaluate work cell layouts to improve manpower utilization, workflow and floor space utilizing Lean techniques
Verification of product with metrology and CMM processes.
Develop job aids which include tooling, fixtures, metrology and visuals by working with internal resources as well as external vendors
Assure product and process quality by designing measuring methods, establishing standards and validating manufacturing process
Develop complete and accurate documentation of existing manufacturing processes as well as new product introductions
Embrace and follow the standard work practices developed for manufacturing engineering
Apply Basic Engineering Principles
Utilize 6 Sigma Problem Solving Methods
Participate in the investigation and response to customer quality excursions
Work within the procedures set forth in Nordson ICS ISO-9001 instructions
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic environment. The required qualifications are as follows:
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
3-5 years experience in manufacturing engineering
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Access)
Working knowledge of AutoCad, SolidWorks and CAM.
SAP experience desired
Lean experience preferred
GD&T desired.
Metrology/SPC desired.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
