You will have the opportunity to learn about different areas of banking and use your multi-tasking, customer service and cash handling skills to process member transactions quickly and accurately, while providing personalized service and bringing a positive energy to LorMet.
Overview of
Responsibilities:
Teller Customer Service Representatives provide friendly, prompt, professional service; process member transactions accurately and quickly.
Balance each day's transactions and verify cash totals; maintain and balance a cash drawer and vault cash.
Perform a broad variety of customer service functions such as opening accounts and account maintenance.
Maintain an up to date knowledge of credit union services and technology through self motivation and in-house training.
Help resolve customer issues and answer member questions regarding checking, savings and other related services.
Teller Customer Service Representatives build a rapport with our customer-members and expand relationships, offering guidance to products and services that provide convenient mobile access, value and ease in handling Lorain County family's financial needs.
Educational and Work Experience Requirements:
Must be 18 or over High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in cash handling, teller and customer service is preferred Other Skills and Competencies Building business relationships:
demonstrate a commitment to member satisfaction and represent the credit union in a professional and positive, pleasant, courteous manner.
Attention to Detail and Organization:
this position requires precision, thoroughness and accuracy.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle functions with accuracy and efficiency under time demands and pressure.

Schedule and Location:
Full Time Positions currently available.
Full Time Schedule is Monday through Saturday.
This position requires the ability to travel to any of the LorMet branch locations at any time, on a temporary or permanent basis.
Work Environment This position operates in an executive and clerical office setting, with customer exposure.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, calculators, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands This position requires manual dexterity, as well as demonstrable communication skills, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets.
This position requires bending, stopping or standing as necessary; occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
